Yesterday we had a visit from an American friend, globetrotter and current Quingo owner, Karen Berry from Boston.

Karen has MS which limits both her mobility and stamina, so a mobility scooter is vital to her ability to get out and about.
However, Karen uses her Quingo to take this to the next level by using her Quingo Air 2 to undertake active tourism, trekking expeditions & camping trips all over the USA.

She flew in with her husband, Jim, to upgrade to an Ultra 2 and they are flying back to the states on Virgin Atlantic, with the batteries in the scooter.
The big advantage of the scooter featuring sealed, lead acid batteries is they are fully compliant with all rules for safe flight, unlike lithium batteries, which are not allowed on flights when they are over a certain charge capacity.

We wish them all the best and happy travels!
